Puukko with 75 mm blade

Old-time village blacksmiths forged a wide range of items, including puukko blades. A village smith puukko has a partial tang and no bolsters. In the past, a tang was just hammered in a tight hole, but today, epoxy glue is used. Blacksmiths made handles, but they did not work with leather; therefore, puukkos were sold without a sheath.

Blade: 80CrV2, double-hardened (edge 63 HRC, spine 50 HRC), length 75 mm. Light handle: Curly Birch, oiled with boiled linseed oil. Dark handle: Curly Birch, torched, oiled with boiled linseed oil. Price: dark 55 EUR, light 65 EUR
